OPERATORS STATION
INDIVIDUAL CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
SYSTEMS OPERATION
D. Transmission Neutralizer (With Transmission in Gear)
This condition has two different circuits connected to the operator panel. It
uses the same normally open 9G8009 Pressure Switch in the air lines to the
parking brake, that makes just the parking brake indicator turn on. There is
also a circuit that uses a 9N1750 Switch mounted on the transmission
linkage, This switch is closed when the transmission is in NEUTRAL but is
open when the transmission is in a FORWARD or REVERSE speed.
With the transmission in gear and the parking brake engaged, the parking
brake indicator on the operator panel is ON and the operator panel sends
current to turn ON the master fault light. If the fuel pressure switch is open
(engine running), the operator panel also sends current to activate the fault
alarm.
The parking brake pressure circuit connects to Pin 19 of the operator panel
and the transmission neutralizer switch circuit connects to Pin 9. Pin 11 of
the operator panel goes to the master fault light and Pin 10 goes to the fault
alarm.
