TM 5-3805-258-24-2 POWER TRAIN DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY WHEEL BRAKE ASSEMBLY REMOVE WHEEL BRAKE ASSEMBLY 4255-11 Tools Needed A 6V2156 Link Bracket 2 start by: a) remove tires and rims 1. Disconnect brake line (1) from the brake as- sembly. 2. Remove bolts (2) from the brake assembly. 3. Install tooling (A) and a hoist on the brake assembly as shown. 4. Remove bolts (4) and brake assembly (3) from the axle. The weight of the brake assembly is 45 kg (100 lb.). NOTE: It can be necessary to push the brake linings away from the disc to remove the brake assembly. 5-175
