Make sure all metal surfaces that makecontact with the rubber torus seals are cleanand dry. Use tool (A) to install the Duo-Coneseal in the retainer. Put a small amount of cleanoil on the surfaces of the metal seals that makecontact with each other.Install bearing cone (1) on the spindle.Lower the temperature of bearing cups (2) andinstall them in the wheel assembly.Put brake disc (3) in position on the wheelassembly and install the bolts. Tighten the boltsto a torque of 270 ± 25 N·m (200 ± 18 lb.ft.).Make sure rubber torus seals are clean and dry.Make sure all metal surfaces that make contactwith the rubber torus seals are clean and dry.Use tool (A) to install the Duo-Cone seal in thewheel assembly. Put a small amount of clean oilon the surfaces of the metal seals that makecontact with each other.5-172
