VEHICLE SYSTEMSREMOVE BUCKET CYLINDERS1.Lower bucket on two 10 inch wooden blocksand turn machine OFF.WARNINGTo prevent parsonal injury release the pressurefrom the hydraulic system before any lines areremoved or disconnected.2.3.4.5.6.7.Cycle bucket (attachment) control valve leverseveral times to release any hydraulic pressurein the circuit.Disconnect oil line (1) from the bottom end ofthe cylinder (7). Plug oil line.Disconnect oil line (2) from rod end of thecylinder. Plug oil line.Support the cylinder with a hoist and suitablesling.Remove bolt (3) and pin (4) securing the rodend of the cylinder.Remove bolt (5) and pin (6) securing bottomend of cylinder.Remove the cylinder (7).TM 5-3805-258-24-2DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY8. Follow Steps 1 through 7 to remove the otherbucket cylinder.INSTALL BUCKET CYLINDERS1.2.3.4.5.6.7.Using a suitable sling and hoist, support thecylinder (1) in the proper mounting positionas shown.Put pin (2) in position at the bottom end ofthe cylinder and install bolt and nut (3).Put pin (4) in position at the rod end of thecylinder and secure with bolt and washer (5).Remove plug and connect oil line (6) to rodend of cylinder.Remove plug and connect oil line (7) tobottom end of cylinder.Torque cylinder mounting bolts (3 & 5) tospecification. Apply grease to fittings at eachend of cylinder; See Section 1, Lubrication andMaintenance.Follow Steps 1 through 6 to install the otherbucket cylinder.5-372a
