I f y o u a r e s c a l d edb y h o t s t e a m , s e e k m e d i c a l a i dimmediately.Carefully remove radiator cap,and measure coolant tempera-ture using a thermometer (besure thermometer does nottouch any metal parts ofr a d i a t o r ) .Coolant temperature must bebetween 175 to 202 degrees F.a .b .If coolant temperature isnot between 175 to 202 de-grees F, remove and testthermostats (page 4-87) .If coolant temperature is between 175 to 202 degrees F, rein-stall radiator cap, close and lock radiator cap access panel .Notify next higher maintenance level (additional tests must beperformed).3-40
