(h) If multimeter indication recorded in step (f) above is 25 to 27 volts,
alternator output voltage is okay. Perform alternator current test (page
5-8).
(i) If multimeter indication is less than 20 volts or more than 30 volts,
a l t e r n a t o r i s d e f e c t i v e . R e p l a c e a l t e r n a t o r ( p a g e 5 - 1 0 ) . T a g d e f e c t i v e
alternator and forward to direct support maintenance for repair.
