Connect wiring harness brown wire terminal (4) to alternator BAT termi-
n a l .
Install lock washer (3) and nut (2). Tighten nut to 25 to 40 lb-in.
Spray alternator and wire terminals with electrical cleaner and allow to
a i r d r y . T h e n s p r a y t e r m i n a l s w i t h e l e c t r i c a l s e a l e r.
Slide rubber boot (1) along brown wire and press firmly with fingers over
alternator BAT terminal.

Connect
and adjust alternator drive belts (page 5-5).
