Dry using clean cloths.(b) Inspect elbows (5 and 8) and filter head (13) for cracks, breaks, defor-mation, damaged or stripped threads, or other damage. Replace as neces-s a r y.(c) Check mounting bracket (18) for bent condition, cracks, or breaks. Re-place as necessary.(d) Check restriction switch (20) for loose or damaged terminal. Replace asnecessary. Connect multimeter between restriction switch terminal andclean metal surface of body. Multimeter shall indicate no continuity. Ifcontinuity is indicated on multimeter, replace restriction switch.(e) Inspect remaining parts for cracks, breaks, deformation, or damagedthreads. Secure using four cap-screws (14), eight washers (17), four lockwashers (16), and nuts (15). Tighten nutsand capscrews securely.8-44
