Watch engine rpm.T e l l a s s i s t a n t t o w a t c h t h e r-mometer of temperature probei n s t a l l e d i n t r a n s m i s s i onelbow.When transmission temperaturereaches 200 degrees F andtachometer pointer stops mov-ing, record engine speed asindicated by tachometerp o i n t e r .Engine tachometer drive shaftoperates at half engine speed.Double tachometer indicationto obtain engine rpm.Engine speed should be 1430 rpm minimum.Release accelerator pedal, move BUCKET control lever to NEUT. posi-tion, and place transmission control lever in N position.Allow engine to operate at idle speed for 3 minutes then shut offengine.3-29
