Removeanchor and pin assembly.(3) Remove anchor pin from side of transmission housing.(4)Lift carrier and hub (15) with associated parts (11 thru 14) and one setof clutch plates (4 and 5) from transmission housing. Then separateclutch plates (4 and 5) from carrier and hub.(5)(6)(7)(8)Remove remaining eight clutchplates (4 and 5) from trans-mission housing.Apply compressed air to reverseport on side of transmissionhousing to push reverse clutchpiston (6) from transmissionhousing. Remove reverse clutchpiston from transmissionhousing.Remove sun gear (7).Remove three seals (8 thru 10)from reverse clutch piston (6)by inserting awl in groove andworking seals out. Discardseals.NOTEDon't disassemble reverse carrier and hub (15) and associated parts (114-164thru 14) unless inspection indicates these parts are damaged.Refer tocleaning, inspection,and repair for repair/replacement of these parts.
