TM 5-3805-262-34 4-8. HYDRAULIC PUMP MAINTENANCE (CONT) DISASSEMBLY (SHEET 3 OF 3) p. q. r. Unscrew and remove four studs (27) from shaft end cover (34). Remove thrust plate (28) and six pocket seals (29) from shaft end cover (34). Discard pocket seals. Remove shaft end cover (34) from vise and put in position on bench. Remove seal (32) using punch and hammer as shown. Discard seal. NOTE Do not remove bearings (6, 18, and 30), seals (7, 19, and 31), dowel pins (8, 12, 20, and 26), or plug (33) unless inspection indicates these parts require replacement. Removal and replacement of these parts is covered in inspection and repair on page 4-270. 4-268
