7. HYDRAULIC OIL LEAKAGE AROUND CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY SPOOL(S).
Remove control valve assembly spool which has leakage and replace spool
seals and O-rings (page 3-661, 3-672, or 3-682).
8. LOAD FALLS WHEN A HYDRAULIC CONTROL LEVER OPERATED.
Remove load check valve (page 3-694).
Disassemble load check valve and check components for wear or damage (page
3-695) .
a. If load check valve components are worn or damaged, replace
(page 3-696).
b.
If load check valve components are okay, remove circuit relief
valve associated with defective circuit (page 3-697).
Disassemble (page 3-697) and check parts for damage or wear
(page 3-700). Replace defective parts as necessary (page 3-701).
9. DETENT WILL NOT KEEP A HYDRAULIC CONTROL LEVER IN POSITION.
Remove spool associated with control lever (page 3-661 or 3-672).
Check coil for short or open circuit (page 3-667 or 3-677).
a. Replace coil if shorted or open (page 3-668 or 3-679).
b.
If coil is okay, check spool and associated parts for wear or
damage (page 3-667 or 3-677).
10. HYDRAULIC PUMP LEAKS OIL.
Disassemble hydraulic pump (page 4-264).
Check seals for damage (page 4-270).
Replace seals (page 4-272).
