3-1. ENGINE MAINTENANCE (CONT)

Flywheel Housing (Cont).
INSTALLATION
(1)
Install plug (11), if removed.
When using chain hoist to remove or install parts, be sure chain hoist
is securely fastened to the part and that all slack in chain is taken
up. Failure to do so could cause serious injury due to the part falling
on you.
If you are injured by falling equipment, obtain medical aid
immediately.
(2)
Using chain hoist, position flywheel housing (10) on cylinder block.
(3)
Install two socket head capscrews (7), lock washers (9), and nuts (8).
(4)
Install capscrew (6), lock washer (5), and nut (4).
(5)
Install capscrew (l), three capscrews (2), capscrews (3), seven lock
washers (5), and two nuts (4).
(6)
Install engine in loader (page 3-30).
(7)
Install starter on engine (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
