Discard coppergasket (11).Remove four capscrews (12),cover plate (13), and O-ring(14). Discard O-ring (14) anddrain oil into container.Remove nut (15) and torquecapsule (16) using torquecapsule wrench.Remove cap nut (1), two coppergaskets (2) , and nut (3). Dis-card copper gaskets (2).Remove supplementary idle screw(4) and spring (5).Remove cap nut (6), two coppergaskets (7), and nut (8). Dis-card copper gaskets (7).Remove low idle screw (9).Remove plastic cap (32), nut(33), and no load stop screw(34).Remove four screws (17) and twoscrews (18).Use plastic hammer to loosen governor cover, carefully swing governorcover open, and allow oil to drain into container. Support governor coverassembly while performing steps (13) and (14) below.Disconnect rack link from fuel injection pump control rack by forcingclip up using screwdriver.Unhook spring (19) from lever bracket (27) using needle nose pliers.Remove governor cover as an assembly, then unhook and remove spring (19).Remove and discard gasket (20).3-169
