Remove cotter pin (6) from roller pin
(7).
Remove roller pin (7) and roller (8)
from brake treadle.
Remove and discard boot (9) from plunger
(10).
Remove plunger (10) from mounting plate
(12).
Remove stop button (11) from mounting plate
(12).

DISASSEMBLY OF BRAKE VALVE (SHEET 1 OF 2)
NOTE
Spring (14) exerts pressure on piston (22). Do not remove retainer (13)
until downward pressure is applied to piston to offset spring pressure.

Using your thumb, apply downward pressure to piston (22) and remove
retainer (13). Use screwdriver to disengage retainer tabs from lip of
valve body (33).
