TOOLS: No. 1 Common Organizational Maintenance Tool Kit Safety glasses Fixed open end wrench set Vise Drive pin punch, 1/8 inch point Air pressure regulator Air hose with 1/4 NPTF fitting on one end MATERIALS/PARTS: Clean cloths (Appendix C, item 1) Cleaning solvent P-D-680 (Appendix C, item 2) Silicone lubricant (Appendix C, item 18) Paint (Appendix C, item 22) O-ring (FSCM 06853 PN 242391) O-ring (FSCM 06853 PN 236640) REFERENCE: TM 5-3805-262-20 NOTE PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE: Pressure protection valve removed from loader (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20). DISASSEMBLY (SHEET 1 OF 2) (1) (2) (3) To of Put pressure protection valve body (12) in vise as shown. Using paint or other suitable marker, make match marks on cap (1) and body (12) to aid reassembly. Hold cap (1) to prevent it from turning and loosen nut (2). NOTE aid reassembly, note and record number turns required to remove cap (1) when performing following step. (4) Remove cap (1) and record number of turns. (5) Remove nut (2).
