REMOVAL (SHEET 1 OF 6)
Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is toxic and flammable.
Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in a well ventilated
area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes and dont breathe
vapors. Do not use near open flame or excessive heat and dont smoke
when using it. Failure to do so could cause serious injury. If you
become dizzy while using cleaning solvent, get fresh air and medical
attention immediately. If contact with skin or clothes is made, flush
with large amounts of water.
If contact with eyes is made, wash eyes
with water and get medical aid immediately.
(1) Clean all dirt and grease from control valve assembly and surrounding
area using clean cloth moistened with cleaning solvent P-D-680.
Hydraulic system pressure is over 2000 psi and hydraulic reservoir is
pressurized with compressed air. Before loosening or disconnecting any
hydraulic hoses, lines, or fittings, operate all hydraulic control
levers to relieve hydraulic system pressure. Failure to do so could
cause serious injury or death. If you are injured obtain medical
assistance immediately.
NOTE
Tag all hose and tube assemblies before disconnecting and removing. Cap
or plug all hoses, tubes, and ports as necessary to prevent intrusion of
dirt or foreign matter.
