FUEL FILTER LINES AND FITTINGS REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
CAU T I ON
Wipe area clean around all connections to be opened during removal. Cap lines and hoses and plug openings
after removing. Contamination of system could result in premature failure.
Utilize line wrenches to avoid damage to fittings.
N OT E
Tag lines and hoses prior to removal to ensure correct installation.
Use a container to catch any fluid that may drain from hoses or system. Dispose of oil IAW local policy and
ordinances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up.
1.
On primary fuel filter base (1), loosen hose clamp (2)
and disconnect fuel hose (3) from elbow (4). Remove
hose clamp.
2.
Remove elbow (4) and adapter (5) from primary fuel
filter base (1).
3.
Loosen hose clamp (6) and disconnect fuel supply
hose (7) from fuel line (8). Remove hose clamp.
4.
Remove fuel line (8) from left side of primary fuel fil-
ter base (1).
5.
Loosen hose clamp (9) and disconnect fuel hose (10)
from fuel line (11). Remove hose clamp.
6.
Remove fuel line (11) from left side of primary fuel
filter base (1).
