Install level gage/fill plugs completely before checking oil level. If dipstick/fill plugs are not installed com-
pletely, oil level reading can be incorrect.
4.
Install level gage/fill plugs (7 and 8) in front and rear differentials (2 and 5).

Operate machine for a few minutes, allowing oil to flow completely through axles.
6.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-290-10).
7.
Remove level gage/fill plugs (7 and 8) and recheck oil level. Add oil if necessary.
8.
Clean level gage/fill plugs (7 and 8) and install level gage/fill plugs for front and rear differentials (2 and 5).

Check for leaks.
