STEERING CYLINDERS REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

C AU T I O N
Wipe area clean around all connections to be opened during removal. Cap lines and hoses and plug open-
ings after removing hydraulic lines. Contamination of hydraulic system could result in premature failure.
N OT E
The following procedure is for the left steering cylinder. The procedure for the right is identical.
Tag hydraulic hoses to ensure correct installation.
Use a container to catch any hydraulic oil that may drain from hoses or system. Dispose of fluid IAW local
policy and ordinances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up.
Steering should be fully articulated in the opposite direction of cylinder removed.
REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect hose assemblies (1 and 2) and remove O-
ring (3) from steering cylinder (4). Discard O-ring.

Disconnect hose assemblies (5 and 6) and remove O-
rings (7 and 8) from T (9). Discard O-rings.
