Remove bolt (10), washer (11), and pin (12) from
steering cylinder (4).

Remove and discard retaining ring (13) and pin (14)
from steering cylinder (4).

Attach lifting equipment to steering cylinder (4).

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during pro-
cedure. Ensure any lifting equipment used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of
heavy parts supported only by lifting equipment. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or
death to personnel.
N OT E
Steering cylinder weighs 60 lb (27 kg).

With assistance, remove steering cylinder (4) and thrust washer (15) from machine.
