CRANKSHAFT VIBRATION DAMPER AND PULLEY REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

INSTALLATION
CAU T I ON
DO NOT expand split lock. Split lock must be aligned correctly for proper installation. Failure to comply
could result in damage to equipment.
1.
Install two split locks (8) and spacer (7) on crankshaft
pulley (4).
2.
Lubricate thrust block (5) and new O-ring (6) with
clean oil and position thrust block and O-ring on
crankshaft pulley (4).

N OT E
Ensure that key is placed in groove on crankshaft at time of installation.
3.
Install crankshaft pulley (4) onto engine.
N OT E
Torque bolts twice when installing pulley.
4.
Install three bolts (3) and tighten evenly to 85 lb-ft
(115 Nm).
