Failure to install guide studs could result in flywheel falling and causing injury or death to personnel.
1.
Remove two bolts (1) from flywheel (2) and install guide studs in bolt holes.

2.
Install link bracket and lifting equipment on flywheel (2).
3.
Remove remaining 10 bolts (1) that secure flywheel (2) to crankshaft (3).
