Disconnect wiring harness (10).
8.
Remove two bolts (11) from engine.
9.
Remove three nuts (13) from fuel injection pump (12).
10.
With assistance, remove fuel injection pump (12) from
engine.

INSTALLATION
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during
procedure. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury to personnel.
CAU T I ON
DO NOT remove hub nut from shaft of fuel injection pump. Hub of fuel injection pump is installed in
the correct position from the factory in order to ensure proper timing. If hub nut and hub are
removed, the fuel injection pump will need to be replaced.
N OT E
If hub is removed, hub will need to be accurately installed on shaft of fuel injection pump by use of
special equipment.
1.
With assistance, position fuel injection pump (12) on engine.
2.
Install three nuts (13) on fuel injection pump (12).
3.
Install two bolts (11) on engine.
4.
Connect wiring harness (10).
