Attach lifting equipment to front axle (1).
7.
Loosen eight bolts (11) securing front axle (1) to
machine.
8.
Position lifting pad of floor jack under front axle (1) at
center-line.
9.
While fully supporting front axle (1) with lifting
equipment, alternately remove eight bolts (11) and
washers (12).
10.
Lower front axle (1) on floor jack. With assistance,
move front axle out from under machine and place on
wood blocks.

FRONT AXLE INSTALLATION
1.
With assistance and using floor jack, position front axle (1) under machine.
2.
Attach lifting equipment to front axle (1).
3.
Raise front axle (1) and position front axle on machine. Loosely install eight washers (12) and bolts (11).
4.
Remove floor jack and alternately tighten eight bolts (11). Tighten bolts to 590 74 lb-ft (800 100 Nm).
