REAR AXLE REMOVAL
1.
Attach lifting equipment to rear axle (1).

C AU T I O N
Wipe area clean around all connections to be opened during removal. Cap lines, hoses, and plug open-
ings after removing lines. Contamination of system could result in premature failure.
N OT E
Tag hoses to ensure correct installation.
Use a container to catch any hydraulic oil that may drain from hoses or system. Dispose of fluid IAW
local policy and ordinances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up.
2.
At front of rear axle (1), disconnect lubrication hose
(2) from elbow (3).
3.
Remove elbow (3) from axle trunnion (4). Remove
and discard two O-rings (5).
