Remove other end of brake hose (10) from T (13).
Remove and discard O-ring (14).
8.
Disconnect brake hose (15) from T (13). Remove and
discard O-ring (16). Position brake hose aside.
9.
Remove T (13) from rear axle (1). Remove and dis-
card O-ring (17).

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during
procedure. Ensure any lifting equipment used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep
clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting equipment. Failure to follow this warning may result in
injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Rear axle weighs 1,500 lb (680 kg).
10.
Loosen 12 bolts (18) securing rear axle (1) to machine.
11.
Position lifting pad of floor jack under center-line of rear axle (1).
12.
While fully supporting rear axle (1) with lifting equipment, alternately remove 12 bolts (18) and washers (19).
