Use this procedure if anotherprocedure has directed you here or if diagnostic code 262-03 (5V
Sensor DC Power Supply Short to +Batt) or diagnostic code 262-04 (5V Sensor DC Power Supply
short to Ground) is active.
ECM supplies regulated +5 VDC to intake manifoldpressure sensor, engine oil pressure sensor,
fuel pressure sensor, atmospheric pressure sensor, and turbocharger inlet pressure sensor.
Supply or +5V engine pressure sensor is roued from ECM, through ECM engine harness connec-

tor terminal 1, to terminal A of each pressure sensor connector. Supply voltage is 5.0 0.5 VDC.

+5V short circuit diagnostic codeis probably caused by short circuit or open circuit in harness.
Next probable cause is sensor and least probable cause is ECM.
