cedure. Ensure that any lifting equipment used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep
clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting equipment. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury
or death to personnel.
N OT E
The starter weighs approximately 60 lb
(27 kg).
8.
Remove bolt (17), washer (18), and clip (19) from
frame (20).
9.
Loosen bolt (21) and slide starter (10) toward rear.
10.
Attach lifting equipment to starter (10).
11.
Remove bolt (21) and washer (22) from starter (10).
12.
With assistance, use lifting equipment to remove
starter (10) from machine.
