Tag hoses prior to removal to ensure correct installation.
Use a container to catch any fluid that may drain from hoses or system. Dispose of fluid IAW local pol-
icy and ordinances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up.
1.
Disconnect wiring harness (1) from sensor (2).
2.
Remove two hoses (3) and O-rings (4) from fittings (5). Discard O-rings.
3.
Remove four bolts (6) and washers (7) from AC compressor (8).
4.
Remove AC compressor (8) from engine (9).
5.
Drain and measure old compressor oil.
INSTALLATION
1.
Fill compressor with amount of new oil equal to that drained from old compressor.
2.
Position AC compressor (8) on engine (9).
3.
Install four washers (7) and bolts (6) on AC compressor (8).
