HYDRAULIC SYSTEM CONTINUED
MALFUNCTION
Travel time of lift cylinders is slow.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Step 1.
Ensure machine is properly warmed up.
a.
If engine is not properly warmed up, warm up engine. Refer to Operation Under Unusual
Conditions (WP 0006).
b.
If engine is properly warmed up and problem still exists, proceed to step 2.
Step 2.
Check hydraulic oil level.
a.
If hydraulic oil level is low, fill to correct level (WP 0020).
b.
If oil level is OK and problem still exists, proceed to step 3.
Step 3.
Check loader control joystick for damage that would restrict freedom of movement.
a.
If any damage is found, notify Field Maintenance.
b.
If no damage is found and problem still exists, proceed to step 4.
Step 4.
Check setting of hand throttle (WP 0005).
a.
If setting is less than full throttle, increase engine speed and recheck.
b.
If setting is at full throttle and problem still exists, notify Field Maintenance.
MALFUNCTION
Work tool/loader arm operating speed is slow.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Step 1.
Ensure machine is properly warmed up.
a.
If engine is not properly warmed up, warm up engine. Refer to Operation Under Unusual
Conditions (WP 0006).
b.
If engine is properly warmed up and problem still exists, proceed to step 2.
Step 2.
Check hydraulic oil level.
a.
If hydraulic oil level is low, fill to correct level (WP 0020).
b.
If oil level is OK and problem still exists, proceed to step 3.
Step 3.
Check hand throttle setting (WP 0005).
a.
If setting is less than full throttle, increase engine speed and recheck.
b.
If setting is at full throttle and problem still exists, notify Field Maintenance.
