REMOVAL CONTINUED
3. Remove two mounts (Figure 3, Item 4) from flywheel housing (Figure 3, Item 1)
4. Attach lifting device to flywheel housing (Figure 3, Item 1).
N OT E
Note bolt size and location prior to removal to aid in installation.
5. Remove two bolts (Figure 3, Item 2) from flywheel housing (Figure 3, Item 1).

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure.Ensure that any lifting equipment used is in good condition
and of suitable load capacity. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury to
personnel.
N OT E
Flywheel housing weighs 75 lb (34 kg).
6. With assistance remove six bolts (Figure 3, Item 3) and flywheel housing (Figure 3, Item 1) from engine. Place
flywheel housing on flat surface.
7. Remove lifting device from flywheel housing (Figure 3, Item 1).
