RECORDING DIAGNOSTIC CODES AND COPYING CONFIGURATION FROM ECM

1. Setup and start MSD, perform maintenance support device (MSD) setup and starting MSD (WP 0008) if not
previously done.
NOTE
Ensure the All ECMs check box is selected at bottom right of ET screen.
2. Select Diagnostics drop down menu (Figure 1, Item 1) and select Active Diagnostic Codes (Figure 1, Item 2) or
select Active Codes icon (Figure 1, Item 4) at the bottom of the Electronic Technician (ET) screen (Figure 1,
Item 3) and record all active diagnostic fault codes.
