FLASH PROGRAMMING

1. Setup and start MSD, perform maintenance support device (MSD) setup and starting MSD (WP 0008) if not
previously done.
2. Select applicable ECM that is being programmed and select the OK button.
NOTE
Flash File CD should be contained in MSD.
Check the following website for the latest Caterpillar ET Software and ECM Flash files:
https://akoapps.amrdec.army.mil/tacom/
3. Insert flash file CD.
4. Select WinFlash (Figure 5, Item 2) from Utilities menu (Figure 5, Item 1). WinFlash will detect all installed
ECMs.
