The transmission electronic control
module (ECM) detects parking brake is
engaged and the machine has traveled
above 1.8 mph (3 km/h) for at least
3 seconds.
System Response:
A warning will appear on instrument
panel; event code will be logged.
Possible Performance Effect:
Parking brake damage.
Test Step 1. Check Status of Parking
Brake.
1. Stop machine (TM 5-3805-298-
10).
2. Disengage parking brake
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
Event Code E0627 Is Active - Repeat
3. Connect MSD, select
troubleshooting from the beginning.
Transmission 924H (WP 0008),
and verify event code E0627 is not
Event Code E0627 Not Active -
active.
Troubleshooting complete.
