Code
The engine electronic control module
(ECM) detects the internal clock of the
ECM is too far out of alignment with the
other control module clocks that are on
the machine.
System Response:
Warning lamp on instrument panel will
be illuminated and event code will be
logged.
Possible Performance Effect:
None.
When an ECM is flashed, all configured
parameters are loaded with the new
software except for the system clocks.
If the system clocks for each ECM are
not synchronized correctly, the
transmission ECM will activate an
E0861.
