Switch and Signal Circuit.
1. On MSD, select Status icon
(Figure 19, Item 1) and select No
Start Parameters status group
(Figure 19, Item 4).
2. Monitor and record User Shutdown
User Shutdown Parameter Indicates
parameter (Figure 19, Item 3).
Off - Replace engine ECM (WP 0265).
Proceed to Test Step 12.
User Shutdown Parameter Indicates
On - Proceed to step 3.
3. Place emergency shutoff switch in
the run (down) position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
4. Monitor and record User Shutdown
User Shutdown Parameter Indicates
parameter (Figure 19, Item 3).
Off - Replace engine ECM (WP 0265).
Proceed to Test Step 12.
User Shutdown Parameter Indicates
On - Proceed to step 5.
5. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
6. Disconnect connector EW-C2
(WP 0012, Figure 50) from engine
shutdown switch connector
(WP 0012, Figure 51).
7. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
8. Using MSD, monitor and record
User Shutdown Parameter Indicates
Off - Replace engine shutdown switch
User Shutdown parameter
(WP 0296).
(Figure 19, Item 3).
Proceed to Test Step 12.
User Shutdown Parameter Indicates
On - Proceed to step 9.
9. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
10. Remove right engine access panel
(WP 0348).
11. Disconnect connector EW-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 49) from
connector EN-C20 (WP 0012,
Figure 48).
