4. Install a jumper wire between
terminal 3 and terminal 4 of
connector C of transmission shift
lever (WP 0012, Figure 77).
5. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
6. Using MSD, select Status Icon and
select Transmission - Basic
7. Turn transmission shift lever to F
position and select first gear
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
8. Take note if Shift Lever Position
Value on MSD reads 1F.
9. Select second gear (TM 5-3805-
298-10) and take note if Shift
Lever Position Value on MSD
reads 2F.
10. Select third gear (TM 5-3805-298-
10) and take note if Shift Lever
Position Value on MSD reads 3F
11. Select fourth gear (TM 5-3805-
298-10) and take note if Shift
Lever Position Value on MSD
reads 4F.
12. Shift transmission shift lever to N
position (TM 5-3805-298-10) and
take note if Shift Lever Position
Value on MSD reads 4Neutral.
