Proceed to step 10.

FAULT - Replace lower cab wiring
harness (WP 0291).
Proceed to Test Step 9.
11. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
12. Move jumper wire to terminal 1
and terminal 5 of connector C-C23
(WP 0012, Figure 80).
13. Wait one minute for ECM to power
down. Turn battery disconnect
switch and ignition switch to ON
position (TM 5-3805-298-10).
14. Observe Shift Lever Position Value
Shift Lever Position Value Is 1Neutral
on MSD (WP 0008).
- Replace direction and downshift
switches (WP 0380).
Proceed to Test Step 9.
Shift Lever Position Value Is DATA
FAULT - Replace lower cab wiring
harness (WP 0291).
Proceed to Test Step 9.
Test Step 5. Test Wiring Harness
from Transmission Control Shift
Lever.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Disconnect connector C-C52
(WP 0012, Figure 76) from
transmission shift lever (WP 0012,
Figure 77) connector A.
