2. Disconnect connector M-C14 from
fuel prime pump
(WP 0012, Figure 112).
3. Using digital multimeter
Continuity - Replace rear frame wiring
(WP 0174), test for continuity
harness (WP 0295).
between M-C14
Install new Monitoring/Key fuse
(WP 0012, Figure 112) terminal 1
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
and terminal 2.
Proceed to Test Step 9.
No Continuity - Replace fuel prime
pump (WP 0200).
Install new Monitoring/Key fuse
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
Proceed to Test Step 9.
Test Step 9. Verify Malfunction Is
Resolved.
1. Ensure all wiring harness
connectors are connected.
2. Install right lower cab access
panels (WP 0347).
3. Using MSD, check for active
Diagnostic Code 1834-2 Ignition Key
diagnostic codes (WP 0008).
Switch Circuit Voltage Erratic,
Intermittent, or Incorrect Becomes
Inactive - Troubleshooting complete.
Diagnostic Code 1834-2 Ignition Key
Switch Circuit Voltage Erratic,
Intermittent, or Incorrect Remains
Active - Repeat troubleshooting from
the beginning.
