Test Step 2. Inspect Blowers Circuit
Breaker.
Operate When the Heater A/
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
C Switch Is in A/C Position -
disconnect switch to OFF position
Continued
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Inspect blowers circuit breaker in
Blower Circuit Breaker Not Tripped
fuse box (TM 5-3805-298-10).
Proceed to Test Step 3.
Blower Circuit Breaker Tripped
Reset blowers circuit breaker
(TM 5-3805-298-10). If blowers circuit
breaker does not reset, replace blowers
circuit breaker (TM 5-3805-298-10) and
proceed to Test Step 33.
If blowers circuit breaker resets,
proceed to Test Step 4.
Test Step 3. Test Heater A/C Switch
in A/C Position.
1. Remove console instrument panel
for access to wiring harness
connectors (WP 0264).
2. Disconnect connector C-C16
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Replace lower cab wiring harness
between heater A/C switch
(WP 0291).
Proceed to Test Step 33.
and terminal 5.
Replace heater A/C switch (WP 0264).
Proceed to Test Step 33.
Test Step 4. Test Blowers Circuit
Breaker Reset.
1. Turn battery disconnect switch ON
and start the machine (TM 5-3805-
298-10).
2. Turn heater A/C switch to A/C ON
position (TM 5-3805-298-10).
3. Turn heater control knob to
maximum cold (TM 5-3805-298-
10).
