ENGINE TRANSFER OF PARTS REMOVAL CONTINUED
WARNING
Diesel fuel is combustible and an irritant. Skin and eye protection is required. Ensure work
area is well ventilated.
Keep away from open flame and other ignition sources. Failure to follow this warning may
cause injury or death to personnel.
5. Loosen tube nut (Figure 14, Item 9) and remove fuel line (Figure 14, Item 12) and O-ring (Figure 14, Item 10)
from fuel filter housing (Figure 14, Item 11). Discard O-ring.
6. Loosen tube nut (Figure 14, Item 5) and remove fuel line (Figure 14, Item 3) and O-ring (Figure 14, Item 6)
from ECM (Figure 14, Item 4). Discard O-ring.
7. Remove bolt (Figure 14, Item 7), washer (Figure 14, Item 8), P-clamp (Figure 14, Item 2) and fuel filter
assembly (Figure 14, Item 1) from engine.
