CAUTION
Failure to ensure all valve links are correctly seated onto valve stems will cause
interference between pistons and valves, resulting in damage to engine.
NOTE
Install valve bridges as noted in removal.
1. Lubricate valve links (Figure 2, Item 1) with clean engine oil and install on valve stems (Figure 2, Item 2).
CAUTION
Install pushrods with cup facing upward. Ensure ball end is correctly seated in valve lifter.
Failure to follow this caution may result in engine damage.
NOTE
Install push rods as noted in removal.
2. Lubricate 12 pushrod ends with clean engine oil and install pushrods (Figure 3, Item 4) on cylinder head
(Figure 3, Item 3).
3. Install machine bolts (Figure 3, Item 1) on rocker shaft (Figure 3, Item 2).
