INSTALLATION CONTINUED
CAUTION
Install new O-rings and new sealing washers as noted during removal.
Ensure that new sealing washers are fully seated on fuel injectors.
If installing old injectors, verify that old sealing washers were removed and there are not
two sealing washers present on a single injector.
Ensure that new O-rings are positioned in grooves of fuel injectors and that they have not
rolled or become twisted.
Ensure that new O-rings and new sealing washers are clean, and have not been
damaged.
Do not lubricate O-rings.
Failure to follow caution, may cause engine damage.
NOTE
Evacuate as much fuel as possible from cylinders prior to installing fuel injectors.
2. Install six new O-rings (Figure 6, Item 3) and six sealing washers (Figure 6, Item 1) on six fuel injectors
(Figure 6, Item 2).
