REMOVAL CONTINUED
NOTE
Cap or plug hoses, tube, and open ports during removal.
Tag and mark hoses and tube to aid installation.
Note hose and tube routing to aid installation.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection,
maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid
with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any
component containing fluids.
Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
1. If replacing secondary fuel filter base, remove secondary fuel filter (WP 0220).
2. Loosen tube nut (Figure 1, Item 6) and remove hose (Figure 1, Item 7) and O-ring (Figure 1, Item 5) from
secondary fuel filter base (Figure 1, Item 1). Position hose aside. Discard O-ring.
3. Loosen nut (Figure 1, Item 8) and remove tube (Figure 1, Item 9) from secondary fuel filter base
(Figure 1, Item 1).
4. Loosen tube nut (Figure 1, Item 10) from elbow fitting (Figure 1, Item 11) and allow tube (Figure 1, Item 9) to
swing down from secondary fuel filter base (Figure 1, Item 1).
5. Remove hose (Figure 1, Item 4) from secondary fuel filter base (Figure 1, Item 1). Position hose aside.
6. Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 3) and secondary fuel filter base (Figure 1, Item 1) from bracket
(Figure 1, Item 2).
7. If replacing secondary fuel filter base (Figure 1, Item 1) remove fitting (Figure 1, Item 12) and O-ring (Figure 1,
Item 13) from secondary fuel filter base.
