2. The thermostat is located inside the thermostat housing, which mounts on the cylinder head. The thermostat
controls the temperature of the engine coolant.

Batteries
0003
Two 12-V batteries are located inside the compartment of the battery box and oil tank. The 12-V batteries connect
in series to produce 24 V for starting the engine and for powering the blackout lights. All other lights, controls, and
indicators operate on 12 V dc.
NATO Socket

The NATO socket mounts on the battery box and oil tank. The NATO socket provides a means to jump-start the
engine.
