Test Step 1. Verify Correct Operation

1. Engage parking brake (TM 5-
2420-231-10) by pulling back on
the handle.
2. Turn ignition switch to the on posi-
tion (TM 5-2420-231-10).
3. Observe parking brake indicator

to Test Step 7.
4. Engage and hold service brakes,
then disengage parking brake
(TM 5-2420-231-10) by pushing
the handle forward.
