WARNING
Allow transmission to cool before performing procedure. Hot metal parts can cause severe
burns. Wear eye, hand, and skin protection when working with heated parts.
Transmission oil is very slippery. Immediately wipe up any spills.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to personnel.
1. Remove transmission dipstick (Figure 1, Item 1) from transmission dipstick tube (Figure 1, Item 2).

2. Remove bolt (Figure 2, Item 5), washer (Figure 2, Item 4), and clamp (Figure 2, Item 3), from transmission
dipstick tube (Figure 2, Item 1) and transmission (Figure 2, Item 2).
