DRAIN TRANSMISSION OIL

WARNING
Allow transmission system to cool before performing procedure. Hot metal parts can
cause severe burns. Wear eye, hand, and skin protection when working with heated parts.
Transmission oil is very slippery. Immediately wipe up any spills.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Transmission holds approximately 15.2 qt (14.4 L).
1. Position drain pan under transmission oil drain plug (Figure 1, Item 2).
2. Remove transmission oil drain plug (Figure 1, Item 2) from transmission (Figure 1, Item 1). Allow transmission
oil to drain. Dispose of oil IAW unit SOP.
3. Install transmission oil drain plug (Figure 1, Item 2) on transmission (Figure 1, Item 1).
