NOTE
The procedure for wheel and tire removal and replacement is identical for left-hand and
right-hand wheel and tire. Left-hand wheel and tire is shown in this procedure.
Tires are directional. Refer to tire sidewall for direction of rotation.
1. Using suitable lifting device, install wheel and tire assembly (Figure 5, Item 4) on machine.
2. Install 10 washers (Figure 5, Item 3) and nuts (Figure 5, Item 2) on wheel and tire assembly (Figure 5, Item 4).
Tighten in three steps:
a. Torque to 100 lb-ft (136 Nm).
b. Torque to 200 lb-ft (271 Nm).
c.
Torque to 225 lb-ft (305 Nm).
3. Position suitable lifting device (Figure 5, Item 1) aside.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for right-hand wheel and tire.
